In 1989 Lee and Donna Rice began participating in Rib Cook-offs and
after numerous first place finishes that year, the rest is history.
Twenty-three years later, Desperados rib team continues to dominate the
rib cook-off circuit with literally hundreds of awards to their credit. It is a
fitting tribute to their mastery of the grill and their fine team of grill masters.
Today, Desperados participates in some twenty or more cook-offs a year
from coast to coast serving up some of America’s best BBQ!
